After years of searching for the ultimate tone and owning countless boutique amps that just didn't do "it", the mission was clear - build it yourself. 

Ground Zero Ampworks started as a hobby and soon grew into a modding service when requests started rolling in for Marshall mods. With an emphasis on clarity, articulate note separation and great feel, those Marshall mods were very well received. With customer input over the years, they were finely tuned into the high performance machines they are now. 

When Marshall donors started escalating in price and becoming more scarce, the new goal was to design a ground-up build that pulled from the success of the modded amps. 

Building on the success of the Marshall mods, while incorporating some high gain American style tone, a new breed of amp was created. A unique blend of British and American high gain with the ultimate flexibility in tones, from clean, to blues, to raging tight metal chugs. It does it all. 

We thrive on the satisfaction and excitement of our customers when they experience a Ground Zero product and find new inspiration. It is what drives us to do what we do.
