The two most frequent comments from M.O.A.B owners are, "It sounds how I always thought a Marshall should sound" and, despite being modified, "It still sounds like a Marshall."
The M.O.A.B is a tighter, punchier and more dynamic Marshall. But it doesn't lose the Marshall DNA or signature midrange. And it's a whole lot more versatile!
Acceptable donors for the M.O.A.B. are Super Leads, JMP's, vertical input 800's, 2203x, 1959x and 1987x.
The M.O.A.B is a high gain, Jose style circuit. It employs numerous unique features such as the Ground Zero proprietary "Compressed/Raw" control to blend the amount of diode clipping and all tube signal path, enabling the perfect response and feel for any scenario.
A 3 way bright switch, Aura (tightness) control, 6 way rotary Gain Style control, "Pull Gain Cut" control for more classic tones, and a transparent effects loop are all standard options. Negative feedback, depth and our "Atten-U-Hater" level control are also included on the back panel.
Available in 3 and 4 gain stage configurations. Foot switching is available for dual master volumes and 4th gain stage.
Play Metallica riffs, some Led Zeppelin, and then grab a Strat and play SRV. It's all there in the M.O.A.B.
